Boys & Girls – Singles & Doubles (U9, U11, U13, U15, U17, U19) Men’s Doubles – Level – Elite, Championship, F1, F2, F3, F4, F5 Women’s Doubles – Level 1, Level 2, Beginners Mixed Doubles – Elite, Championship, L1(F1+F2), L2(F3+F4), L3(F5+Biginners), L-Master’s (Age Male 45+ & Female 40+) Master’s Doubles (Age 45+) – Level 1, Level 2, Master’s Doubles (Age 50+) Jumbled Doubles 85+ (One player's age should be under 35) Jumbled Doubles 100+ (One player's age should be under 45)
Age Verification: Age will be calculated per BWF regulations. Participants may be required to provide valid age proof at the time of registration (for further details, please refer to the next page)
Minimum Entry Requirement: A minimum of 8 entries is required to conduct an event. If the number of entries falls short, the organising committee reserves the right to:
- Merge the event with the next higher age or skill category, or
- Cancel the event entirely.
Player Classification: The tournament committee reserves the right to determine or adjust a participant's playing level based on previously available performance data.
- A pair that has won any Open tournament in Bahrain in 2024 or 2025 will not be permitted to compete together in the same or a lower-level category.
- Any concerns or objections regarding player pairings or playing levels should be brought to the attention of the organising committee before the publication of the tournament schedule.
Objections or complaints about player pairings or playing levels will not be entertained once the schedule has been published. |
Format of Play |
Elimination. For Boys & Girls – Singles & Doubles - Up to Quarter Finals - Best of 3 - 15 Points W/o setting For all other events – Best of 3 - 15 points with setting (21) up to Quarter Finals Semi Final & Final – Best of 3 - 21 points with Setting. Play will be following the Laws of Badminton as mentioned on the website of the BWF. |

- A player may register for multiple events.
- Players must be prepared to play matches as per the official schedule, including finals, with minimal or no rest time between matches.
- Once the tournament schedule is published, no changes will be entertained based on individual player requests.

The event will strictly follow the Laws of Badminton. In the event of any dispute, the final decision will be made by the Tournament Referee. |
Other Matters |
All events will be conducted on a strict time schedule. Players must be ready to play at least 15 minutes before their scheduled match time. Failure to report on time will result in a walkover being awarded to the opponent. No special timing accommodations will be made for any player, regardless of whether they are based inside or outside of Bahrain. Any changes to the schedule of play will be communicated solely by the Referee. |
