Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam honouring the world famous architect Padmashri Shri.G. Sankar with a new award " BKS Lari Baker Award" for his contribution towards the construction of low cost housing. The jury comprising of Smt. T.N. Seema , Mr. Ayyappan and Dr. Anil selected Padmashri Shri.G. Sankar for this prestigious award.
Padma Shri G. Shankar is the pioneer of people’s housing movement based on cost effective and sustainable building technologies in India and he is known as the Guru of Affordable housing. He has constructed thousands of houses all over the globe
The award will be presented to him by the famous writer T. Padmanabhan on 22nd February 2018 at 8pm.
