The exhibition is open to photographers, amateur or professional, of any nationalities residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Each photographer can submit up to 4 photographs (“Entry”) out of which 2 photographs will be selected by a selection committee of BKS Photography Club to be displayed at the exhibition.

BKS Photography club reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to select/reject photographs submitted without providing any additional explanations.

All Entries must be submitted through Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam website.

Last date of submission of Entry is: 5th June 2018.

The digital photograph must be in “JPG” format, with 3x2 (or 2x3) aspect ratio and 60cm x 40cm with 300ppi image size. Each files size should not be less than 4MB and more than 20MB.

Photographs submitted must be free of any borders, watermarks or signatures. No digital manipulation allowed other than basic post processing/correction of the photograph. Brightness, Contrast, Color balance, Cropping, Sharpness can be adjusted along with minor spots removal and retouching. No key elements of the composition should be digitally added or removed in the photograph.

You must be the person who took the photograph. No 3rd party submissions will be accepted.

By submitting the Entry, you confirm that you are the sole author and owner of the copyright of all the photographs entered and it is your original work of art. You have received necessary permission from the owner of the property included in the submitted photograph for the usage rights.

BKS Photography Club will not be held responsible, if the subject in the photo is falling under any copyright violations or any infringement of any other rights or privacy of a third person or the laws of the Kingdom.

The copyright of the entries will be with the photographer, but Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam and Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Photography Club will retain the right to use the photographs fully or partially for any non-commercial purpose without the consent of the photographer.

Participants must comply with all applicable legislation and public moral in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam or BKS Photography Club does not charge any fees for submissions to the exhibition, however, photographer should bear the cost of final printing which will be communicated once entry is selected.

After the exhibition, photographer must collect their print within 5 days, failing which the print will be disposed-of appropriately by BKS Photography Club. Once collected, Photographer will hold the right to give away the photograph as a gift or choose to sell it to any interested visitors at the exhibition. Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam or BKS Photography Club will have no involvement in any such dealing and will not collect any fee for the same.
